Amidst the vibrant gathering of approximately 4500 party delegates from diverse corners of Mizoram, the Mizoram College Teachers Association (MCTA) oversaw the transparent and democratic election process. The election results are as follows:
- President: Lalliansawta

The function was chaired by Pu Lalliansawta, the newly elected President of ZPM. In attendance were prominent figures including Pu Lalduhoma, Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, corporators, and councillors.
Expressing gratitude, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma said, “We are very pleased that many people have prayed for us. There are many candidates in the party leadership election, and this is very normal because, in a democracy, people have the right to choose who will be their leader. The newly elected leaders are urged to lead the party well.”
The event marked a significant milestone in the political landscape of Mizoram, as ZPM establishes itself as a key player with a new set of leaders at the helm. The party is now geared up to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, steering the state in the direction chosen by its people.
